Severe storms, tornado warnings impact Pennsylvania, New Jersey

Severe thunderstorms swept through eastern Pennsylvania and northwestern New Jersey Tuesday afternoon, bringing heavy rain, hail, damaging winds, and at least one confirmed tornado touchdown in Northampton County's Slate Belt area. The threat of severe weather has passed for now, with a drier day expected Wednesday before more rain returns later in the week.
