Baltimore, Wayne County Coaches Arrested Child Sexual Abuse Charges

Michael J. Pusateri, a 59-year-old Baltimore County softball coach, has been arrested and charged with sexually abusing a minor, including rape, sexual abuse of a minor, and solicitation of child pornography. The allegations involve grooming and inappropriate sexual contact with a 17-year-old female player, with incidents reportedly occurring over several months and including explicit text messages and physical abuse. Pusateri has coached multiple local leagues and schools, including Parkville Recreation Council, Kenwood High School, and others in the Middle River and Overlea-Fullerton areas. Authorities believe there may be additional victims who have not yet come forward. Pusateri is currently held without bail, and Kenwood High School has barred him from its property, offering support to students and staff affected by the situation. Meanwhile, in Wayne County, Illinois, Chet Snyder, a volleyball coach and minister, faces charges of sexual abuse and unlawful restraint involving minors, though the college where he works stated the allegations do not involve their students or his official duties.
