Cork GAA Appoints Ben O'Connor, Ronan Curran To Senior Hurling Backroom Team

Ben O'Connor is set to be officially appointed as the Cork senior hurling manager for a three-year term, succeeding Pat Ryan after two consecutive final losses. O'Connor's backroom team will include Ronan Curran, Terence McCarthy, and William Biggane as selectors, with Niall O'Halloran as coach; all have prior experience working with O'Connor on the successful 2023 Cork U20 team. Ray Keane, a Kerry native with a strong coaching background including leading St Finbarr's to a Cork senior title in 2018, has been confirmed as the new Cork U20 football manager, assisted by Paul Kerrigan, Kevin O'Sullivan, and Enda Kiernan. These appointments were proposed for ratification at the Cork County Committee meeting, reflecting continuity and experienced leadership across Cork’s GAA teams for the upcoming seasons.
