Two Bay Area Suspects Arrested in Separate Killings

San Francisco police arrested Marvin Duran, 32, in connection with a fatal shooting in the Sunnydale neighborhood, where the victim was pronounced dead and a firearm was recovered. In a separate incident, Jesus Aguilera, 44, was apprehended in Oakland following a manhunt for the May 29 shooting death of Michael Shaheen Rezaee in Sunnyvale. Aguilera, the estranged husband of Rezaee’s girlfriend, allegedly killed Rezaee while he was defending his partner, after Aguilera had made previous threats. Aguilera was booked into Santa Clara County Jail on murder charges and is being held without bail. Police credited cooperation among multiple law enforcement agencies for Aguilera’s arrest. Authorities are urging anyone with information about either case to contact investigators.
