Air Canada Expands Summer Routes Montreal-Edinburgh, Increases Flights Europe
Air Canada is set to enhance its European network by introducing a new summer route between Montreal and Edinburgh, which will operate three times a week from June 26 to September 6. This service will be the only non-stop flight between the two cities and is expected to cater to the rising demand for travel between Canada and Scotland. Additionally, the airline will increase the frequency of flights to popular destinations such as Paris, Athens, and Rome, with significant capacity boosts to meet summer travel needs. Mark Galardo, Air Canada’s EVP of Revenue and Network Planning, emphasized the importance of these new connections in supporting tourism and family visits. The Montreal-Edinburgh route will be operated using a Boeing 737 MAX, offering both Premium Economy and Economy options. This expansion reflects Air Canada's commitment to improving transatlantic connectivity from its Canadian hubs.
