Alan Hamel Demos Suzanne AI Twin

Alan Hamel, the widower of Suzanne Somers, is developing a "Suzanne AI Twin" — a lifelike AI and robotic recreation of the late actress that he publicly demonstrated at a conference earlier this year. Hamel says the system was trained on Somers's 27 books, hundreds of interviews and voice recordings, and was built with robotics partners; he and others said the demo's answers were nearly indistinguishable from Somers. He and Somers reportedly discussed creating an AI double for decades after conversations with futurist Ray Kurzweil, and Hamel says the project originated with Somers as a way to provide health and wellness information to fans. Although he has called the project "perfect," Hamel says the system is not yet ready for wide release, and he plans to host the AI on SuzanneSomers.com so fans can interact with it in the future.
