BluPine Energy in Chhattisgarh

BluPine Energy has successfully secured ₹239 crore ($28.6 million) in financial assistance from Tata Capital for a 75 MWp solar power project in Chhattisgarh, which is expected to generate around 117 million units of energy annually and offset over 107,000 tonnes of CO2 emissions. The project is a collaboration with APL Apollo Building Products, which will be the primary consumer of the energy produced. BluPine Energy's CFO, Sanjeev Bhatia, noted the growing corporate commitment to green initiatives and sustainable practices, emphasizing this project as part of their strategy towards net-zero emissions. With this initiative, BluPine Energy aims to expand its renewable energy portfolio to 1000 MW. The financial closure marks a significant milestone in the company’s efforts to develop sustainable infrastructure in India.
