Four Connecticut residents, including a 15-year-old girl taking flying lessons, were killed in a plane crash in Vermont. The victims were identified as Paul Pelletier, Frank Rodriguez, Susan Van Ness, and her daughter Delilah Van Ness. The single-engine Piper aircraft departed Windham Airport in Connecticut and landed at Basin Harbor Airport in Ferrisburgh for brunch. The plane reportedly crashed while attempting to return to Connecticut, and no distress calls were received. The wreckage was discovered early Monday in a wooded area east of the airstrip. The FAA and NTSB are investigating the cause of the crash.
