UAE to Host 2025 Men’s T20 Asia Cup

The Asian Cricket Council (ACC) has confirmed that the 2025 Men’s T20 Asia Cup will be hosted in the United Arab Emirates from September 9 to 28, with matches in Dubai and Abu Dhabi. The tournament will feature eight teams split into two groups, and the high-profile India vs Pakistan match is scheduled for September 14 in Dubai. The event, adopting the T20I format, was moved from India to the UAE due to a BCCI and PCB agreement amid geopolitical tensions. Separately, the International Cricket Council (ICC) has announced that Nepal will host the Women’s T20 World Cup 2026 Qualifier from January to February 2026. Ten teams will compete for four places in the main Women’s T20 World Cup, to be held in England and Wales in June-July 2026 across seven venues. The main tournament will feature 12 teams.
