Pasadena Police Release Sketches in 2021 Killing of 13-Year-Old

Pasadena police have released new composite sketches of two suspects involved in the 2021 shooting death of 13-year-old Iran Moreno, who was killed while playing video games in his bedroom. The gunman, described as a Black man between 33 and 37 years old, about 6 feet tall and weighing 185 to 195 pounds, was last seen wearing a red and black North Face hoodie. The suspected getaway driver is a Black woman aged 27 to 31, approximately 5 feet 3 to 5 feet 5 inches tall, and weighing 165 to 185 pounds. The suspects were seen fleeing in a gray Ford Fusion with a partial license plate number QJ117, and are believed to have connections to Pasadena and surrounding counties. Police have not disclosed a motive but believe Moreno was not the intended target, and they urge anyone with information to contact authorities or Crime Stoppers anonymously. Despite prior rewards and investigation efforts, the case remains unsolved, with recent witness tips enabling the creation of the updated sketches.
