Edison Lowers FY2025 Guidance; Shares Drop
Edison International slipped 1.51% to $56.05 on Tuesday, its second straight daily decline, after Benzinga reported the company lowered its FY2025 GAAP EPS guidance to $8.05–8.30 from $8.22–8.62. Consolidated Edison fell 1.67% to $98.55 on Tuesday and was about 14.21% below its 52‑week high of $114.87. Despite those declines, the broader market advanced on Tuesday, with the S&P 500 rising 0.23% and the Dow gaining 0.34%. MarketWatch intraday notes flagged mixed performance across energy and infrastructure names, with Diamondback outperforming while Atmos Energy, EQT and Public Service Enterprise Group underperformed. Other names including Equinix, AvalonBay and Exelon also saw weakness during the week, contributing to a mixed sector picture.
