BJP Releases 67 Candidates for Haryana Elections
The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has released its first list of 67 candidates for the upcoming Haryana Assembly elections, moving Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini from Karnal to Ladwa, a 'safe seat' for him. The party included recent entrants and dynasts, such as Shruti Choudhry from Tosham and Bhavya Bishnoi from Adampur, and dropped over 25% of sitting MLAs. Meanwhile, the Jannayak Janta Party (JJP) has announced its first list of 15 candidates, with former Deputy CM Dushyant Chautala contesting from Uchana and his brother Digvijay Singh Chautala from Dabwali. The Aazad Samaj Party, an ally of JJP, also announced its candidates, marking its first contest in Haryana. The elections are scheduled for October 5, with vote counting on October 8.
