Thomaston Approves Cannabis Store Near Waterbury Line

C3 Industries Inc. is set to open its fourth cannabis store, High Profile Cannabis Shop, in Thomaston, Connecticut, within the next six months, after receiving approval from local officials. The store will be situated on the Thomaston side of a property straddling the Waterbury line, which is zoned for manufacturing and light industrial use, while the Waterbury side is restricted to residential properties. Meanwhile, Minnesota is progressing toward recreational marijuana sales, with the Office of Cannabis Management submitting proposed regulations to a judge. In Colorado Springs, several dispensaries, including Apothecary Farms, are awaiting final state approval to begin retail sales of recreational marijuana, which are expected to start on April 14. Additionally, Edibles.com is planning to open a flagship store in Atlanta, featuring hemp-derived THC products, as part of its expansion efforts in the Southeast.
