Nolan Siegel Joins Arrow McLaren IndyCar Team
Arrow McLaren has signed 19-year-old Nolan Siegel to drive the No. 6 Dallara-Chevrolet for the remainder of the 2024 IndyCar season, replacing Theo Pourchaire. Siegel, who recently won the LMP2 class at the 24 Hours of Le Mans, will become the youngest driver on the IndyCar grid. This move follows a tumultuous period for Arrow McLaren, which has cycled through multiple drivers due to injuries and contractual complications, including David Malukas and Callum Ilott. Tony Kanaan, Arrow McLaren's sporting director, identified Siegel's potential during the Indianapolis 500 qualifying and recommended him for the team. Pourchaire had been excited about racing at Laguna Seca but was informed of his replacement just days before the event. Siegel's signing aims to provide stability and long-term growth for Arrow McLaren.
