USA TODAY Names Best Ice Cream Shops

An’s Dry Cleaning in San Diego has been named the best independent ice cream shop in the U.S. by USA Today, topping their annual 10Best list. Known for its unique, fabric-themed gelato flavors, the shop has garnered national recognition for its creativity and high-quality ingredients. This accolade follows their second-place finish last year. To celebrate the achievement, An’s will offer $1 gelato on July 1. An’s Dry Cleaning, which opened in 2018, operates multiple locations in San Diego and plans to open a new shop in Ocean Beach. Other top contenders on the list include Coneflower Creamery in Omaha and Owowcow Creamery in New Jersey and Pennsylvania.
