Kareena Kapoor Celebrates 25 Years in Cinema

PVR Inox is hosting a film festival from September 20-27 to honor Bollywood star Kareena Kapoor Khan's 25-year career in cinema. The festival will take place across 30 cinemas in 15 Indian cities and will feature a selection of Kapoor Khan's iconic films, including 'Jab We Met', 'Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham', and her latest release, 'The Buckingham Murders'. Kapoor Khan expressed her gratitude on Instagram, stating, 'The blood in my veins, the magic on screen… my job I love… the fire within… here's to the next 25.' This initiative highlights Kapoor Khan's significant contributions to Indian cinema, making her the only female actor in India with a dedicated film festival, alongside legends Dilip Kumar and Amitabh Bachchan. She debuted in Bollywood in 2000 with 'Refugee' and is recognized for her versatile roles across numerous successful films. Following the festival, she will also be featured in upcoming projects, including 'Singham Again', set for a Diwali release.
