Bengaluru Man Dies in Firecracker Challenge

On October 31, during Deepavali celebrations in Bengaluru, 32-year-old Shabarish died after accepting a dare from his friends to sit on a box of firecrackers, which they lit, leading to a fatal explosion. The incident, captured on CCTV, involved Shabarish being promised an autorickshaw if he completed the challenge, despite being under the influence of alcohol. Following the explosion, he was rushed to the hospital but succumbed to his injuries two days later. The six friends involved have been arrested and charged with culpable homicide. This tragic event highlights the dangers of reckless behavior involving explosives, particularly during festive celebrations. Authorities are reviewing the footage as part of their investigation.
