Meanwhile, a separate derailment occurred in Bihar involving the Muzaffarpur-Pune Special train, where its engine went off the tracks, though no injuries were reported. Restoration work is ongoing for both incidents, with railway authorities actively managing the situations to minimize disruption. The cause of the derailments is currently under investigation.
