Multiple Arrests Following Fatal Shootings in Santa Rosa, Long Beach

An 18-year-old man, Mario Amarion Jennings, was arrested in connection with the fatal shooting of 32-year-old Dwayne Walton in Long Beach. Jennings was taken into custody in Rancho Cucamonga and is being held on a $3 million bail, while the motive for the shooting remains under investigation. In a separate incident, Devin McKenzie, 23, was arrested for the murder of 20-year-old Benjamin Adair in Santa Rosa after a physical altercation escalated, resulting in Adair being shot in the neck. McKenzie was also hospitalized for stab wounds sustained during the incident and is currently held without bail. Authorities in Santa Rosa are still investigating the circumstances surrounding the shooting, which has been identified as the second homicide in the city this year.
