FBI Investigates Second Assassination Attempt on Trump

The FBI had previously received a tip about Routh in 2019 for being a felon in possession of a firearm, but the investigation did not lead to any charges at that time. He was arrested after a Secret Service agent spotted the rifle muzzle through the fence line. Routh has been charged with multiple gun crimes, and this incident marks the second assassination attempt on Trump in recent months.
