Sydenham Bypass Resurfacing Work Resumes January 6

The Department for Infrastructure (DfI) will resume the £3.8m resurfacing project on the Sydenham Bypass in Belfast starting January 6, 2025, after pausing work over the Christmas period to minimize traffic congestion. The Belfast-bound carriageway will be closed on weeknights from 10 PM to 6 AM, and there will be four weekend closures, with the first from January 10 to January 13. These closures aim to ensure the safety of road workers and the public while maintaining traffic management and diversions.
