Trailing 4-0 at the 12th hole, LAGC, featuring Sahith Theegala, Collin Morikawa, and new member Tony Finau, rallied to tie the match 4-4 and won the deciding 'chip-off'. This critical win places LAGC at the top of the league standings with a 3-0-1 record. Tony Finau's debut was pivotal in their victory, and the match drew a notable audience including Serena Williams, who co-owns LAGC. Boston Common Golf Club's ongoing struggle continued as they were eliminated from playoff contention after a loss to Atlanta Drive Golf Club. Meanwhile, Bay Golf Club also clinched a playoff spot, joining LAGC in the semifinals set for March 17 and 18.
