Children Of Bodom Plans 2026 Tribute Reunion In Helsinki

The Finnish heavy metal band Children Of Bodom is set to reunite for a special tribute concert titled "A Celebration Of Music" on February 26, 2026, at the Tavastia Club in Helsinki. This event will honor the late lead guitarist and frontman Alexi Laiho, who passed away in December 2020 due to health complications from liver disease. Original members including bassist Henkka Seppälä, keyboardist Janne Wirman, drummer Jaska Raatikainen, and guitarist Alexander Kuoppala will perform, with Samy Elbanna of Lost Society stepping in to cover Laiho's parts. The band expressed that the show is both a celebration of their musical legacy and a fulfillment of a long-standing wish from fans.
