Moore tested positive for anabolic steroids, specifically high levels of nandrolone, in 2022, and her provisional suspension time will be deducted from the ban, allowing her to return before 2029. The CAS determined Moore could not adequately explain the presence of the substance. Separately, Croatian player Lauro Milanovic received an eight-year ban and a fine for failing to cooperate with an investigation into alleged match-fixing and betting breaches.
