Lady Vols Land No.2 2026 Recruit Oliviyah Edwards
Oliviyah Edwards, a consensus five-star forward ranked among the top recruits nationally in the 2026 class, has committed to the University of Tennessee Lady Volunteers, marking the program's first commitment for that class. The 6-foot-3 versatile player from Tacoma, Washington, chose Tennessee over other major programs including South Carolina, USC, LSU, Florida, and Washington, citing the coaching staff's honesty, the program's family atmosphere, and the style of play as key factors. Edwards, known for her athleticism and ability to guard multiple positions, averaged 17 points and 7.8 rebounds last season and has drawn praise from Lady Vols legend Candace Parker, who sees a bright future for her at Tennessee. Her commitment bolsters Tennessee's roster as the team prepares to replace three of its four forwards graduating after the 2025-26 season and continues to build on the momentum from its highly ranked 2025 recruiting class. Edwards' connection to Adidas, with Parker as president of Adidas women's basketball, and her ties to former Tennessee stars through club basketball, further solidify her fit within the program. The Lady Vols remain active in recruiting other top prospects in the 2026 cycle, maintaining their status as a competitive program under coach Kim Caldwell.
