Houston Police Seek 18-Wheeler Driver in Fatal Crash

Houston police are actively searching for the driver of an 18-wheeler suspected of causing a fatal hit-and-run crash on Friday night at the intersection of South Sam Houston Parkway East and Sabo Road. The crash resulted in the death of Francisco Medillin, 44, and injured several others, including a 9-year-old who suffered non-life-threatening injuries. The 18-wheeler struck a stopped Chevrolet Cavalier and subsequently hit five other vehicles before fleeing the scene, and the driver of a Toyota also left without providing information. Police have released video footage of the white 18-wheeler and are urging anyone with information to contact them or Crime Stoppers. Investigations are ongoing with authorities reviewing surveillance footage and interviewing witnesses to identify the suspect and the vehicle involved.
