Arijit Singh has postponed his May 9 concert in Abu Dhabi due to escalating India-Pakistan tensions after a terrorist attack in Pahalgam that killed at least 26 people. Singh announced that all tickets remain valid for the rescheduled date, or fans may request refunds starting May 12, 2025. The attack led India to launch Operation Sindoor targeting terrorist sites in Pakistan and Pakistan-Occupied Kashmir, contributing to increased cross-border hostilities. The tense situation has also led to the postponement of cultural events like a Sufi music festival in Bradford, which was affected by airspace restrictions. Other artists, including Shreya Ghoshal and AP Dhillon, have similarly cancelled or postponed their events citing safety concerns. Singh's team is working with the venue to announce a new concert date soon and thanked fans for their understanding.
