Jonas Brothers Return for Disney's Camp Rock 3; Alyson Stoner Excluded

Disney has confirmed a third installment of the Camp Rock franchise, featuring the return of the Jonas Brothers as the band Connect 3 and Demi Lovato as an executive producer. However, Alyson Stoner, who played Caitlyn Geller in the first two films, confirmed they will not be reprising their role in Camp Rock 3 and are not involved in the new project. Stoner speculated that the film might introduce a new generation of characters, similar to what was done with the High School Musical franchise. Despite not returning as an actor, Stoner expressed openness to contributing behind the scenes, such as working as a coordinator on set. The plot reportedly centers on the band reconnecting with Camp Rock to find new talent after losing their opening act for a major reunion tour. Filming appears to be underway, with Nick Jonas recently celebrating his birthday on set.
