West River Single-Vehicle Crash Kills Elderly Annapolis Couple

A tragic single-vehicle crash in West River, Anne Arundel County, resulted in the deaths of a 90-year-old Annapolis couple, Donald and Anne Allen. The incident occurred on October 19, 2025, at the intersection of Muddy Creek Road and Sudley Road when their 2007 Buick LaCrosse veered off the roadway, struck a tree, and came to a stop. Donald Allen was pronounced dead at the scene, while Anne Allen was airlifted to R Adams Cowley Shock Trauma Center, where she later succumbed to her injuries. The crash happened while the vehicle was traveling southbound behind two other cars, and no other vehicles were involved. The Anne Arundel County Police's Traffic Safety Crash Team is conducting an ongoing investigation, and authorities have not yet determined the cause of the crash. Police are also seeking witnesses or anyone with dash camera footage to assist in the investigation.
