Majerkiewicz Jailed for Life for Salford Murder

Marcin Majerkiewicz, aged 42, has been sentenced to life imprisonment with a minimum term of 34 years for the murder and dismemberment of his housemate, Stuart Everett, in Salford, Greater Manchester. Majerkiewicz bludgeoned the 67-year-old with a hammer before using a hacksaw to cut the body into 27 pieces, which he then dispersed across various locations in Salford and north Manchester. Police identified Majerkiewicz through CCTV footage showing a man struggling with a heavy bag, which led to his arrest.
