He emphasized that while the new support staff brings a different perspective, he maintains a good understanding with Gambhir. Rohit acknowledged the distinct dynamics of the current coaching team, which includes Gambhir, Vikram Rathour, and Paras Mhambrey, noting that such transitions are natural. The Chennai Test, commencing on September 19, will mark India's first red-ball game under Gambhir's leadership. Rohit expressed confidence in adapting to the new coaching methods without any issues. Gambhir has been in charge since July, following Dravid's departure after the T20 World Cup in June.
