Denmark Wins Miss Universe 2024 in Historic Victory

The 73rd Miss Universe pageant, held in Mexico City, saw Denmark's Victoria Kjaer Theilvig crowned as the winner, marking Denmark's first victory in the competition's history. Theilvig triumphed over 125 contestants, with Mexico’s María Fernanda Beltrán and Nigeria’s Cnidimma Adetshina as the first and second runners-up, respectively. The event featured a record number of participants, including historic firsts such as the oldest contestant and the first to wear a hijab. It was highlighted by the national costume contest, where contestants showcased their cultural heritage.
