West Lothian Biker Dies Hospital Crash Inverness Campervan

Steven Twizell, a 57-year-old motorcyclist from Armadale, West Lothian, died a week after a crash involving his blue BMW motorbike and a white Peugeot campervan on the A82 at Lochend near Inverness. The collision occurred around 4:30 pm on June 19, and Twizell was taken to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary, where he passed away on June 26. The 46-year-old male driver of the campervan was hospitalized as a precaution but has since been discharged and arrested in connection with a road traffic offence. Police investigations are ongoing, and authorities have requested witnesses, including those with dashcam footage, to come forward to assist with enquiries. Sergeant Kate Finlayson expressed condolences to Twizell's family and friends and emphasized continued police support during the investigation. The family has requested privacy at this difficult time.
