Nashville to Host 2025 FIFA Club World Cup

Nashville has been officially selected as a host city for the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup, with matches set to take place at GEODIS Park from June 15 to July 13. Mayor Freddie O’Connell expressed excitement about welcoming top soccer teams to the city, emphasizing Nashville's growing prominence in the sport. The tournament will feature 32 clubs from six international confederations competing in 62 matches, culminating in the final at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey. Nashville SC CEO Ian Ayre highlighted the event's potential to showcase the city on a global stage, while the Nashville Convention & Visitor’s Corp prepares to accommodate the influx of soccer fans. The FIFA Club World Cup will mark a significant milestone, being the first to adopt an expanded format since its inception. Other U.S. host cities include Atlanta, Miami, and Los Angeles, among others.
