Metro Boomin Faces Sexual Assault and Rape Lawsuit

Music producer Metro Boomin, whose real name is Leland Tyler Wayne, is facing a lawsuit filed by Vanessa LeMaistre alleging rape and sexual assault in 2016, which reportedly resulted in an unwanted pregnancy that was later terminated. The lawsuit claims that LeMaistre lost consciousness after consuming alcohol and Xanax at Wayne's studio, where she alleges the assault occurred, and she later found herself in a hotel room with Wayne. The accusations include claims that Wayne referenced the incident in the lyrics of his song 'Rap Saved Me.' Wayne's attorney, Lawrence Hinkle II, has dismissed the allegations as false and a 'shakedown,' asserting that Wayne will defend himself in court and pursue a claim for malicious prosecution if he prevails. LeMaistre's lawsuit also seeks damages for the mental distress she experienced as a result of the alleged incident. Metro Boomin has not directly addressed the accusations but is preparing a legal defense.
