Autograph Collection Debuts Maldives Resort on Two Private Islands

Marriott International's Autograph Collection Hotels has launched its first property in the Maldives, The Halcyon Private Isles, located on two private islands in the Gaafu Alifu Atoll, about 90 minutes by seaplane from Malé. The resort features 38 luxurious villas ranging from 220 to over 1,250 square meters, including island, overwater, two-bedroom ocean villas, and a three-bedroom Grand Estate, all with private infinity pools and interiors inspired by Maldivian maritime heritage. The design and concept draw inspiration from the Greek myth of Alcyone and the 19th-century explorer H.C.P. Bell, emphasizing a blend of heritage, exploration, and serene island living. Guests receive personalized service through dedicated Halcyon Butlers who coordinate itineraries, marine excursions, dining, wellness treatments, and special events. Culinary options include multiple venues offering international, Peruvian-Japanese fusion, and grilled specialties, complemented by wellness amenities like an overwater spa, yoga, and sound therapy. The resort aims to provide an immersive and authentic storytelling experience aligned with the Autograph Collection's ethos of individuality and refined island discovery.
