Sexton, Faloon Join Ulster Rugby Coaching Team
Ulster Rugby has announced the appointments of Mark Sexton and Willie Faloon to its coaching staff for the 2025-26 season, joining head coach Richie Murphy and forwards coach Jimmy Duffy. Sexton, who has previously served as Connacht's attack coach, will lead the attack for Ulster, while Faloon, a former player for the province, will take on the role of defence and contact skills coach. Both coaches have experience working together in the Ireland Under-20 setup, where they contributed to back-to-back Grand Slam victories. Murphy praised Sexton's impressive coaching reputation and enthusiasm, stating he is eager to work with the talent at Ulster. Faloon's familiarity with the province and his coaching background within the academy were also highlighted as valuable assets. Additionally, Dan Soper will transition to a role focused on player development and transition from the academy to senior squad.
