Near Janesville, Wisconsin, a head-on collision occurred when a Saturn Ion crossed the centerline into oncoming traffic, injuring both drivers severely but not life-threateningly. In Arcadia, Wisconsin, a two-vehicle crash involving a car and a truck required extrication and helicopter transport of the car driver to a hospital, with a passenger of the truck also hospitalized. Additionally, a late-night crash near Joy Road and Heelan Street in Detroit led to non-life-threatening injuries requiring urgent medical care, with the cause under investigation. Authorities in all incidents continue their investigations as emergency responders provided prompt assistance to the injured.
