25 Western Nations Condemn Israel Aid Policy Amid Gaza Crisis

Twenty-five countries, including Western nations and the European Union, have condemned Israel's restrictive aid policies in Gaza, describing the situation as a humanitarian crisis with civilian suffering reaching 'new depths.' They criticized Israel's 'drip feeding' of aid, which has been linked to the deaths of over 800 Palestinians, including children, who were killed while seeking humanitarian relief at aid distribution sites. The aid delivery model is viewed as dangerous, fueling instability and depriving Gazans of human dignity, with calls for Israel to comply with international humanitarian law and lift restrictions to allow safe and effective aid distribution. Meanwhile, talks involving the US, Israel, and Arab countries are underway to organize direct airdrops of aid to alleviate the worsening hunger crisis in Gaza. Additional aid efforts include a UAE ship carrying over 7,000 tonnes of supplies and a field hospital expected to arrive soon.
