South Carolina Defeats Akron 50-7 in Football

South Carolina's quarterback Robby Ashford stepped up in a dominant 50-7 victory over Akron, filling in for the injured LaNorris Sellers. Despite losing running back Raheim Sanders early in the game, Ashford completed 15 of 21 passes for 243 yards and rushed for 133 yards, including a 36-yard touchdown.
