Goya Foods Names Jesús Vázquez General Counsel

Carlos Ortiz has retired after 35 years as the Vice President and General Counsel of Goya Foods, with Jesús Vázquez appointed as his successor. Ortiz, who joined Goya in 1989, played a pivotal role in safeguarding the company's legal rights and enhancing its brand, having previously held various legal positions and advocated for Hispanic representation within the legal community. Vázquez brings extensive experience from his prior role in the aerospace industry and as assistant general counsel at Goya since 2022. Meanwhile, Patrick Donnelly of Sirius XM is also set to retire in early 2025 after nearly three decades, planning a transition period before his departure.
