Ohio State Police are investigating multiple recent shooting incidents near the Ohio State University campus. On Monday night, a man identified as Richard Patridge allegedly shot a victim near John Herrick Drive and Olentangy River Road; the victim is in stable condition. Patridge was arrested on Tuesday and charged with felonious assault, abduction, and other offenses. Neither the suspect nor the victim are affiliated with the university. On Wednesday, another shooting was reported near North High Street and East 11th Avenue, with no victim yet located, prompting authorities to ask residents to shelter in place. Investigations for both incidents are ongoing.
