Two Men Charged with Fatal Stabbings in Brockton, Austin

Reynald Biamby, a 44-year-old man from Mattapan, Massachusetts, was arrested and charged with the murder of 36-year-old Rose Lacroix in a domestic violence incident in Brockton. Police responded to a 911 call early Tuesday morning and found Lacroix dead and Biamby injured at the scene. Biamby claimed during his arraignment that they had an argument that escalated into a struggle, during which he stabbed Lacroix in self-defense; however, he pleaded not guilty and was held without bail. His arraignment was held in Brockton District Court, and he is scheduled for a probable cause hearing on August 5. The case is being investigated by Massachusetts State Police and local authorities. In a separate incident in Austin, Texas, Robert Saldana was charged with the murder of his roommate Ronald Mixon after a fatal stabbing following a dispute involving racial comments, marking Austin's 31st homicide of 2025.
