Chris Burney Reveals Toe Amputation Amid Health Struggles

Chris Burney, co-founder and guitarist of Bowling For Soup, recently revealed on Instagram that he had two toes amputated, following his retirement from the band due to health issues. The 55-year-old musician, known for his humor, posted a photo of his foot with the caption, 'I’m a Free-nubbin, butt-rubbin son of a gun.' Burney stepped away from the band last summer, citing medical challenges after three decades of touring, which included a hiatus for a leg injury. The remaining members of Bowling For Soup expressed their support for Burney, confirming they would not replace him and would continue to perform as a trio with his blessing.
