CFIA Recalls Organic Carrots Due to E. coli

This recall follows a similar action in the U.S. involving Grimmway Farms, the source of the affected products. The recall affects carrot juice and carrots sold with best-before dates from August 14 to November 2. Additionally, in the U.S., organic whole and baby carrots from Grimmway Farms have been recalled, with reports of nearly 40 illnesses across 18 states. Consumers are advised to discard or return the recalled products, as they may not be safe for consumption. The CFIA and FDA recommend checking refrigerators and freezers for any affected items.
