The Cleveland Guardians have made several updates to their coaching staff for the 2025 season, with Grant Fink being promoted to hitting coach, succeeding Chris Valaika who moved to the Cincinnati Reds. Fink previously served as the minor league hitting coordinator for the past three years and played in Cleveland's farm system. Craig Albernaz has been promoted to associate manager from his previous role as bench coach, and Kai Correa has been elevated to Major League Field Coordinator/Director of Defense, Baserunning, and Game Strategy. Sandy Alomar Jr. and Carl Willis will continue their long tenures as first base/catching coach and pitching coach, respectively. Other key returning staff include assistant pitching coach Joe Torres, bullpen coach Brad Goldberg, and infield/third base coach Rouglas Odor, among others. These changes follow Stephen Vogt's successful first season as manager, where he led the Guardians to an AL Central title and became a finalist for AL Manager of the Year.
