R&B star Tamika Scott of the group Xscape recently visited The Juicy Crab restaurant in Buford, Georgia, with her daughter, where they were initially ignored by multiple waitresses. After standing by the door for five minutes and being overlooked by four of the five to six waitresses on duty, one young waitress kindly assisted them, prompting Scott to reward her generosity with a $700 tip as a "small token of love." Scott shared the experience on Instagram, emphasizing that the tip was not about celebrity privilege but about fairness and kindness, encouraging people to "never judge a book by its cover" and to treat everyone fairly regardless of color, sex, or financial status. The waitress was visibly surprised and grateful, saying the gesture "made my night." Scott also noted that those who ignored them did not receive the tip and urged the waitress to "stay who you are" and not let anyone change her.
