NASCAR Prepares for COTA Race with New Layout

The 2025 NASCAR Cup Series season's third race, the EchoPark Automotive Grand Prix, will take place at the Circuit of the Americas (COTA) on March 2, marking the first road course of the season. Shane van Gisbergen, a former Supercars champion, is favored to win, with +500 odds, followed by newcomer Connor Zilisch at +550. Zilisch, an emerging NASCAR talent, will make his Cup Series debut, aiming to become the youngest winner, bolstered by his success in the Xfinity Series. Defending champion William Byron and previous COTA winners Chase Elliott and Tyler Reddick are also strong contenders. The race will be broadcast on FOX, covering 95 laps over 232 miles. Meanwhile, IndyCar on FOX has expanded its broadcast team with experienced pit reporters Kevin Lee and Georgia Henneberry, alongside driver Jack Harvey, enhancing their coverage for the series.
