She was kidnapped and held hostage by a taxi driver who threatened to strip her naked and take photos of her over a 90-minute ordeal. Despite being warned not to go out without a chaperone, Page went to a mall alone, where the situation turned menacing as she found herself with no way back to her hotel. The driver kept her captive while driving around, but she managed to keep him talking until he eventually returned her to the hotel. After escaping, she recounted the incident to hotel staff, who warned her to never put herself in such a situation again. This incident left her feeling genuinely in danger, marking the only time she believed she was truly in serious trouble.
