Glynn Purnell has announced the closure of his Michelin-starred restaurant Purnell's after 17 years, with the final service taking place on October 12. The chef expressed deep sadness, attributing the decision to economic pressures and challenges within the hospitality industry. Purnell's, recognized for its seasonally influenced dishes, earned numerous accolades including a Michelin star shortly after its opening in 2007.
